Hey everyone! I hope you are doing well!
So this past week
has been a very busy week! We got a total of 26 lessons in this week
which is amazing! We normally only get about 20. We are super excited
that we were able to teach that much, especially with the craziness
going on in our apartment! As my subject line kind of tells, we have
ants. They are so annoying, it freaked us out the first day. Now its
just a normal thing to go and squish them,
which is a bad thing if we're used to it. Luckily our apartment complex
is going to come spray them sometime this week, so they will be gone!
Our investigators are doing pretty good. 4 of them we haven't been able
to meet with very much, but we already have plans to do so in the
coming week. The other one is awesome! He is really wanting to learn
more and is willing to meet with us on a regular basis. grin emoticon
The last 2 we are working on getting to go and see them. They are
rarely at home, or they don't hear when we knock on the door or
call....one of them has really bad hearing. But in the long run,
everyone is doing pretty good.
We went to the General Women's
Broadcast on saturday. It was absolutely amazing! I loved the talks,
especially the one by Bonnie L. Oscarson. I loved the points that she
mentioned in The Family: A Proclamation to the World. About how we need
to be defenders of it. The home is such a special place that we need to
keep safe.
I also enjoyed President Henry B. Eyring's talk and
how we are here to help each other through life. We can and must be an
important part in comforting others. And that we may go through the
sorrows and hardships of life, but Joy always comes after sorrow.
This past week we've also been able to share the new Easter video that
the church put out. "Because He Lives". I highly recommend that you all
watch it and share it with your friends. It is such an amazing video
about hope and about love. It is a great way to bring a small bit of the
spirit and of hope into your life.
I hope you all have a fantastic week!!
